PAKISTAN - A five-member delegation from the Pakistan Poultry Association, headed by Raza Mehmood Khurshid, called on District Coordination Officer (DCO) Ahad Cheema at his office on Monday, in which various proposals were discussed to solve problems that poultry businessmen face.
According to The Nation, while talking to the delegation, the DCO said it was the need of the hour to regulate poultry businesses and to provide clean chicken meat to citizens.
"There is need to prepare a comprehensive parameter for margin and weight and measures, so that the business of poultry can be standardised," the DCO added.
He said PPA gave final touch to its recommendation after meeting with DO Industries, Labour and Livestock |
